The theme of "Salad Bowl" :

I’m using color as a metaphor for values and cultures.

For example, depending on the race skin colors and eye colors differ. Depending on the location there are also different styles of hair dyes and make-up. The color depicts culture, and we have been living with this stereotypical use of colors.

Globalization is progressing rapidly, and we are in a period where we coexist with people of different cultures and values. We are in a world where people accept each others’ differences beyond the conflict and blend to build a new harmony.

I blend many different colors to paint the people coexisting in the era of multiculturalism
